A station side recording configuration requires the recorder be connected to the interface for your digital phones. This is commonly via Cat5e patch panelling or Krone strips.
In most cases call data presented to your telephones display can be captured and displayed in the Teltronics Praetorian voice recorder reports. The type of data usually included can be dialled number, caller number (CLI), and extension. The recording system will provide the date, time and extension as well. The call data that can be collected is often specific to your particular switch type and phone set in use. For a list of compatible switch types and phone sets please click here.
Station side enables recording of all calls that are handled by the extensions connected to the recording system. This includes inbound, outbound and station-to-station calls. Only calls handled by the phones connected to the recording system are recorded. Utilising the Praetorian ‘Auto-Record’ module we are also able to track an agents movements in a free seating environment via their unique network login.

As with any Teltronics recording platform the above diagram is not restrictive. We can provide ‘mixed tap’ recording systems which can be an amalgamation of Station, Trunk and VoIP recording types.
